It's done, after working over the course of weeks, it's finally done. I've never put in so much work as I have done on this one. While I think it isn't the best space scene out there, I pretty satisfied with the fact that this is my second attempt at terraspace (First attempt was total crap, that isn't even worthy of being showcased in my scraps, but it's there anyway).
About the piece itself, It was inspired by the ever great *alyn, I looked at his work countless of times to try and get a feel for it without trying to hard to imitate his work. I also looked at a few of *sirgerg works as inspirations to try and make my own space fillers.
I used Photoshop and Terragen on this, with a few stock pictures from the stock exchange to add a bit of textures to the planet and the landscape. Don't ask me how long this took, I would imagine over 30-40 hours, but it could be double that as I did a lot of experimenting and undoing.
There really isn't a hidden meaning behind this, or no story about whats going on here... yet. This was made purely for the eyecandy and as an icebreaker in making terraspace works. I'll be continuing this type of work later on and trying to come up with new ideas.
Well there's pretty much all my rant, but I do have on requests:
I worked my ass off on this, so the only thing I ask from you (the public) is to Full View It, you can't really see how much work I put into this with just a thumbnail.
VEery nice for your second apptemp man
i was gonna do terraspace but there is only
so much you can do with it, so i decided to
stay with my abstract vector.

i love the sharp contrasts of the stars and lighting in the space and the surreal colour
good thing you stuck with the same colour tone throughout the scene

Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
